Originally the meridian lines of our bodies were part of a much larger system, which is referred to as the meridian-axiatonal system, and connected us to the grid lines that encircle the planet. These grid lines were designed to continue out and connect us to a vastly larger grid, tying us into the entire universe. This connection could not be experienced up to now even though in truth everything is interconnected.
Picture a tree with deep roots growing in very fertile soil.
Life energy runs freely. If you were to cut a branch of this tree, a new one would re-grow.
If, however, you picture a tree with a very weak root system, the situation is different: If you were to cut a branch off this tree, a new one might not re-grow as quickly, or worse not re-grow at all, because there is inadequate life energy circulating (this metaphor is merely used as an illustration and not intended as an excursion into the field of biology!).
The tree mirrors your body and mind, the soil your environment and the universe. The root system is a metaphor for the meridian-axiatonal lines of your body and life energy that which ensures your personal evolution.

Many sources report that these meridian-axiatonal lines were cut off at some point, which distanced us from our innate connection with the universe and once fast and comprehensive personal evolution. Perhaps, we have only forgotten that we are all connected, but the effects are the same.
Think about the human body for a moment…
Besides bones, muscles, organs, nerves and blood vessels, the human body has its own energy system. Though meanwhile merely remnants of what they once were, these lines and points – which are referred to as the meridian-axiatonal system – still function as conjunctions with the universe: a channel that enables our communication with the visible and invisible world, the universe and mankind through energy, light and information.
